Notice 3 - Return of Temporary Licences
The Inland Revenue Department wishes to remind all Car Rental Operators that any 2021 Temporary Driver’s Licences not sold within this year, should not be sold after December 31st, 2021.
Car Rental Operators are required to return all unsold licences to the Inland Revenue Department to be reconciled, and exchanged for 2022 licences valued at the same amount. All licences are to be returned on or before Friday, 14th January, 2022.
Please be informed that the Compliance Officers or Auditors of the Inland Revenue Department can at any reasonable time visit your establishment or request to inspect registers and any other records maintained by the Car Rental Operator.
All concerned are asked to take note and be guided accordingly.
