Property Tax - Due Date Second Half 2023

PRESS RELEASE - DUE DATE SECOND HALF 2023

The Government of Anguilla (GOA) and the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) would like to thank all property owners who contribute to the welfare of their community and promote the financial stability of our beloved island, by paying their taxes. A significant number of property owners 
have either paid their property tax, in full or the first instalment. If you have only paid your first instalment, we wish to remind you that the second half of the Property Tax Demand Notice for 2023 is due and payable by Friday 1st December 2023. 

We would like to remind all property owners that you are responsible for payment of property taxes whether or not a bill is received. If you have not received your Property Tax bill, please contact us or visit us at the IRD so that we can review and update your registration and contact 
information.

IRD is working diligently to ensure that all properties are justly valued and that the data on buildings and owners are up to date. Property owners who believe the value of their property is incorrect can file an objection directly at the IRD. Property Tax Officers may need to perform a 
site visit to assess building characteristics and measurements to review its value. We appreciate your continuous cooperation during these visits.

Property owners who have not made payments in 2023 or who are having difficulties in making payments, please contact the IRD Compliance and Collection Unit as soon as possible. We would like to discuss your situation and assist you with making arrangements and agree on a payment 
plan.

The IRD has an Online Portal which provides a convenient and efficient user experience. We encourage all property owners to visit www.services.gov.ai to register for access to the Online Portal. Here you can view and manage your Property Taxes.
