Press Release Extended GST Registration

The Inland Revenue Department extends deadline for registration for the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The Valley, Anguilla - The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) announces the extension of the deadline for registration for GST to Monday 16, May 2022.

Businesses are required to apply for GST registration if:

- Within the last 12 months, the value of their taxable supplies equalled or exceeded EC$300,000; or
- Within the next 12 months, they expect the value of their taxable supplies to equal or exceed EC$300,000.

Note that Auctioneers, Short-Term Accommodation Providers (stays of 182 days or less), Promoters and Proprietors of Public Entertainment or State or Statutory Bodies, are required to register from the date the taxable activity commenced, regardless of the registration threshold requirement of EC$300,000.

The GST registration forms can be accessed on the IRD Website or at the office.  Form F2 is to be completed by Sole Proprietors and Form F3 by Non-individuals such as Partnerships and Companies.
