Press Release - USL Filing via Online Portal

The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) advises taxpayers that effective 1st October, 2022, they are required to file the Universal Social Levy (USL) online. All taxpayer who have not already registered on the IRD online portal are encouraged to do so.

The Inland Revenue Department has modernized our environment to provide convenient and efficient service to our taxpayers. We encourage you to register services.gov.ai for access to the portal where you can easily stay up to date with information, manage all your tax affairs, file and upload your returns, and pay your taxes in a timely manner at your leisure.

Please be reminded that all taxpayers with a Universal Social Levy (USL) account are required to file their return online. You are also required to complete and upload the USL Employer form, or Self-Employed form for the purpose of verification at IRD. These forms can be downloaded from the IRD’s website at www.ird.gov.ai, or collected from the department. The tax calendar which outlines the due dates for each USL return period can also be viewed on the website.
