I extend my sincerest thanks to my colleagues in the Ministry of Finance and IRD for the support given to me during this transition.” He further stated that, “the Department of Inland Revenue will continue to search for efficient and logical solutions to the administrative and tax challenges that confront us. We will search for, and implement, new ways to deliver greater value to our customers, the citizens of Anguilla. The Comptroller is the island’s financial officer; the people’s financial watchdog; the one responsible for insuring that taxes are properly accounted for, and expended in a manner consistent with the applicable laws, policies, and procedures. This is a responsibility I take very seriously.”
